      USSC focuses on legislative and political action to protect safe and legal gun ownership by Utah citizens.  USSC provides information on firearms related issues to group and indvidual members and supporters in Utah.  USSC coordinates and represents many of the state's gun owners and organizations when dealing with legislative issues. USSC is the oldest Utah gun rights advocacy organization. While not officially a Natonal Rifle Association affiliate, USSC works closely with the NRA.

    This is the official NRA affiliated state association. The Association makes safety and shooting sport related information available to Utah citizens, and promotes range development to ensure safe places to shoot.  The Association sponsors junior shooters to enable them to attend the National Matches at Camp Perry every year.  This group does not engage in lobbying or political action.  Membership in Utah State Rifle & Pistol Association  (or any club noted as  (CMP affiliated club)) meets one of the requirements for eligibility to purchase items from the Civilian Marksmanship Program.

    A shooting club in Provo affiliated with the International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA).  Also affiliated with the Rangemasters shooting range in Springville, and often combine resources for twice-monthly "Fun Shoots" that are IDPA based, and bowling pin shoots as well. Offer 3-Gun Matches and Steel Shoots occasionally throughout the year.
